Metropolitan Hotel Vancouver

Metropolitan Hotel Vancouver

We've stayed here in the past and liked the facility. It's within a 10-minute walk or 3-minute drive to Fairmont Pacific Rim.

AirBnb

AirBnb

Hotels are limited outside of the downtown core. We recommend looking for an AirBnb near a Canada Line station or in the Kitsilano area.

WHERE TO EAT

Family-style sharing menu known for its wood-fired oven pizza, fried chicken, and baked sweet potatoes. One of our guests works at Nightingale.

Get a free cocktail on us if you can find out who!

Phnom Penh

Phnom Penh

Our go-to spots when we're craving soup and fried chicken. Here's our order:

• Hot & sour soup with fish
• Deep fried chicken wings (L)
• Luc lac wtih egg

Linh Cafe

Linh Cafe

The best phở in town. Johnny orders the large phở and Jade orders the foie gras parfait paired with their vietnamese coffee.

Jam Cafe

Jam Cafe

Our favourite neighborhood brunch spot. The eggs benedict uses a pineapple citrus holandaise sauce which pairs perfectly with their iced coffee.

WHERE TO VISIT

Kitsilano

Kitsilano

Relaxed, beachy, and quintessential West Coast. Kitsilano is where the city meets the beach and where we live!

Kits Beach offers a stunning view of the North Shore mountains and the downtown skyline. Spend a morning browsing the boutiques along West 4th Avenue or grab a coffee and walk the seawall. It’s the perfect spot for a laid-back afternoon.

Yaletown

Yaletown

Once a warehouse district, Yaletown is now Vancouver’s trendy hub for dining and nightlife. The brick-lined streets are packed with breezy patios and upscale boutiques.

It’s the ideal place for a fancy cocktail or a stylish dinner before heading back to your hotel.

Whistler

Whistler

Majestic mountains and alpine adventure. Located about two hours north of the city via the breathtaking Sea-to-Sky Highway, Whistler is a world-class resort destination.

Once home to the 2010 Winter Olympics, explore the slopes or go hiking and lakeside lounging. In October, the pedestrian-friendly Village offers a Cornucopia dining event and special menu offerings.

Vancouver Island

Vancouver Island

Rugged coastlines and island time. Just a scenic ferry ride away, the Island feels like a different world. From the historic charm and blooming gardens of Victoria to the wild, surf-swept beaches of Tofino, it’s a place to slow down and embrace nature.
